I used to walk to a gym to play basketball at night in Minneapolis and then walk home...can't do that anymore.
I used to drive to work in Minneapolis and get back to my apartment at midnight – park out in the alley and walk up the backstairs in the dark...can't do that anymore. I used to drive all night from rodeo to rodeo and stop at dimly lit self-serve gas stations, and very likely no one else was around...can't do that anymore. Today....there is SO much we can't do or should not do anymore without taking extreme precautions. When I'm on the road, a pistol is on the console of my truck. If I have a flat tire, that pistol is right next to the lug wrench at the ready! Both Deanne and I are very cautious about locking ourselves in for the night and pity the fool that wants to intrude – it will be his last! It's time...yes, it is time for this Country to take a hard stand against crime and criminals and protect law abiding citizens. NO...I feel no compassion to rehabilitate or give a "pass" to anyone that wants to do harm to me or my family and friends – their lives and future mean nothing to me. I applaud President Trump on his "cleansing" of Washington, D.C. and I hope this concept goes to Chicago, New York, L.A., anywhere in America where bad people have forgotten the Goodness of the 10 Commandments. Trump's administration represents the "broom and dustpan" we've needed for a long time....clean up on Aisle 7??? Look out bad guys!!!
