It's that time of the year...for donations. The past three weeks my mail has been dominated with solicitations to please give them money...lots of it. Some of the causes are very good and very much in need of my "help"...others not so much. I do have some favorites and actually look forward to writing them a check. St. Jude Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, the Salvation Army (YOU never know when YOU may need a hot meal!!) and our local veterans with my dear friend Chuck Driscoll. Pick and choose the charities that you want to support and can afford...and pray for the others. There are many people hurting at this time of year, and in the long run, I know God will take care of them, with a little bit of assistance from US. My wife Deanne and I want to wish all of you a Very Merry Christmas AND a Happy (better) New Year!
