Like the J.G. Wentworth commercials on TV... "I want my money and I want it now"!!! The way things are going with banks in the U.S., we all maybe saying that phrase. The Biden Administration has failed US on so many fronts...crime, the borders, education, energy, our national security, inflation and now the banking industry. Janet Yellen as head of the Treasury Department?? Please, she looks better suited to be a Pekinese groomer. Yellen along with other inept and other NRB's (Not Real Brights), have been appointed to cabinet positions they have NO talent or ability. Our Idaho U.S. Senator Mike Crapo questioned Yellen on the real causes of Silicon Valley Banks failure and basically what he learned from her was double speak and gibberish. Then of course, the Fed raising interest rates higher and higher only exasperates inflation and higher costs to the consumer. Thus, with a lack of cash in your pocket – people start using their credit cards for food, gas, EVERYTHING, and pay north of 25% interest. The snowball of stupid economics is getting larger, and soon, that snowball will roll downhill and hit all of us, not just with a recession..but MAYBE a huge monetary depression. The people in charge should have known, they should have seen what was careening out of control, but they shut their eyes and hid under their desks. Diversity and equity will never replace competency...and we have some very incompetent people destroying our government and OUR lives.
