Soon...very soon to be 75 (!!) I know how things have changed and how expensive everything is! I'm sure all of you have had to cut back on buying certain items or going to certain places...cut back, scrimp and save. However, thanks to a "bolt of lightning" from God above, I had a real awakening of what is still free in our world. This past weekend, for the first time in a long time, Deanne and I jumped on the 4-wheelers for a little ride. It was perhaps the most beautiful day we've had all year, temps in the 70's, complete BLUE SKY, fresh air with a slight crispness of fall and I was with my best friend...my wife. And then it hit me... God gave all that for us to enjoy for free...no charge, just "absorb" it and live!! Oh, to be sure, "enjoying all this" cost me a little gas, but the worth was priceless. The yellowish-golden that of the fall grass and trees, the mountains standing tall and clear in the brilliant sunshine brought a lump to my throat. But above all, I was with my wife of 51 years to savor every moment...and it did NOT cost a dime!! Look around YOUR life...really look and see and appreciate what you have
and what's available to make you feel good at no charge...Thank You GOD for your blessings!
