I sat there...realizing this could be the end. I was like an old milk carton, my expiration date had come...I was trapped in a collapsed lawn chair! The cloth bottom of the chair had torn away, and all 5'11" 225# of me ended up in a tri-fold position...there was no way out...no hope...I was going to my funeral in this position with a Lowe's Home and Garden label under my chin! So...what do we do? I'm locked in the chair, my chin is on my knees, one arm was stuck under an arm rest...I can't move!! Deanne...being more calm about this dilemma than I (of course, she wasn't in the chair!) had the great idea of tipping me over backward and then try to pry me from my ensnared position. One problem though, if she tips me over, yes dear reader, I probably will incur severe head injuries, cause that's what I will land on. Okay, okay easy... almost over...THUNK!. One point landing! Now get me out of this!! Stop for just a moment and realize the pain and embarrassment I was in and just laying there in the aforementioned Trifold position, it brought tears to Deanne's eyes...problem was – they were tears of laughter! I was afraid she'd giggle herself into oblivion! We wedged, we bent, we stretched and finally I was free of my aluminum captor! It was a 95 degree day and both of us looked like we had just run a marathon but, I WAS A FREE MAN...HALLELUJAH!...let's have a cold beverage and go sit in the shade....I sat on the ground!
