I goofed...to all the readers of "Cowpies & Coffee Cups"...I had a "senior moment" and forgot to write a "Cowpies" last week. Sooo...you've never had one of these "moments"?? For some reason, they seem to be happening with more regularity, and some are mind-blowing. In Twin Falls, they have some 5-point intersections. The other day as I approached the stoplight a weird thought passed through my 74-year-old mind.... where the heck am I going and for what?" This was very disconcerting to me with many cars and pickups behind me that were telling me to go....somewhere...and their gestures confirmed I'm still #1! I turned on to one of tributaries and drove slowly down the street in hopes of a "mind joggling" experience that would tell me "WHY AM I HERE???" Suddenly it came to me, like a lightning bolt or accidentally passing wind in church...I was going to the bank!! I was ecstatic that my brain finally had "KICKED IN" and, I hate to sound redundant, I actually REMEMBERED! I joyously turned around and drove straight to my bank and then merrily headed for home. As I pulled into the driveway, panic overtook me as I "remembered" that I forgot to go to D & B Supply for fence posts...so back to town tomorrow...hope I can remember!!!!!
