Stay at home...do not pass "go" and you cannot collect $200! Right now life is like living on a Monopoly Board. With all this "indoor time", I can't explain "why" I suggested to Goober, "I need to clean out my office"...proving to be one of the dumbest utterances from my mouth! For those of you that have been in the confines of my office/studio, you are well aware that in the event of another earthquake or any slight jostling, all the items on the walls and surrounding the walls will tumble, making escape impossible! Finally last Friday, I couldn't take it anymore and I waved one of my crutches as a scepter "Let the cleaning begin!!...Holy Trash!" You may think I'm exaggerating, but we took out at least 30 boxes and large Hefty garbage bags, and stacked them on the back porch (it was raining outside). Suddenly we heard a whimper and realized "somewhere" we had covered up our new pup "Festus". Frantically we tossed and threw containers of "my life" and finally saved the dog! As I write this blog, we still have at least another 10 bags to fill and my enthusiasm for this project is dwindling. I can't help it...I'm a keeper! From books, to memorabilia, to bank statements from 1991, to over 360 editions of "The Western Horseman" magazine and over 470 copies of "The Team Roping Journal"!!....I cried when I bagged em' up! And...50 years of newspaper clippings, day sheets, programs, posters and pictures of my rodeo career...much of which I slammed my boot down and said "I'm keeping this!" Unfortunately, we're not done, after my office the garage is beckoning us with a taunting of "You ain't ever going to get me organized!"...it may be right! I'm trying to convince Goober that we need the ski boots that Tobee wore at age 8, we need the seat cushions from watching Jake in his high school days, he's 45 now and they are slightly mouse chewed, but, for Heaven's sake, Goober, this is our family heritage!!...We're trashing it all! I'm signing off now, with a tear in my eye, knowing I'll never see my Dick Tracy secret decoder ring again!

Don't forget Dr-History.com! Exciting episodes of the old West!!
Now in 110 countries...110!! And not one of them
have said they're offended!
