When I'm finished riding a horse or doing chores, I like to sit on the bench in front of my barn. I get into a bit of "cowboy reflection" on various subjects and today, there's plenty to reflect on! I guess I'm guilty of thinking that beautiful red, white and blue flag, the flag of MY Country will always be high on that pole, gently rolling in the breeze. I wonder in 10 or 20 years if there'll be a National Anthem for us to stand for and be so prideful of. I ask myself if my favorite book, the Bible, will be labeled as hate speech and purged from every home and church in the land. I meditate on whether we'll be able to go see a sick friend, or after church (if any are left), we gather with friends and family for a nice "get together". I worry as to whether there will be a rural population, farmers, ranchers and those that love an outdoor lifestyle. Will people be allowed to "own" animals, raise some steers, saddle a horse or just pet the neck of your favorite dog. I wonder if there will be the bright Friday night lights of a high school football game, and the warming, welcome glow of Christmas tree lights celebrating the birth of our Savior?....Be Careful America....right this very minute there are evil insidious people and groups that are bent on eliminating all of my "reflections!" I've had a great life and had experiences that absolutely have been blessings,....our grandchildren deserve a "shot" at the same. This next election literally is an election of "WILL". Do we have the guts and the tenacity to stand up to the evil and trounce them OR....are they going to take away all the values this Country stands for? Maybe YOU should sit on the "barn bench" and have some reflections of your own!
