It's not coming...it's here and it will get worse! The idea and concept of paying reparations, (guilt $) to blacks and browns and indigenous people has been floating on murky waters for a long time....it's here! Recently in Portland, Oregon, there was an inaugural "Reparations Happy Hour" at a local bar. The invitation was very clear in the wording "Reparations Happy Hour" - Reparations for Black, Brown and indigenous people – Paid for by WHITE FOLKS"!! Yup!!. "White folks" were not invited, but, were told to pay and many stupid "white folks" did contribute! The organizers of this divisive and racist event said that with "white folks" donating "it will create healing, leadership and community building in Portland's black, brown and indigenous community"...Right here dear reader, I'm inserting a "Cowboy expletive"!!! AND....!! the organizer of this racist nonsense hired seven whites to defend the event! Pardon me for a moment, I have to unclench my fists!!! The chief organizer behind this folly, black Cameron Whitten said "Money should be given to black people for generations of trauma suffered and the continuing impact of slavery", and another spokesperson said "It's a legitimate demand of an oppressed people who were enslaved". Oh, and another "beacon of light" said "How about stop shooting and arresting us for just going about our business trying to live our best life"??...Oh, boy. Enough. Lets state the obvious. Blacks that were brought here by black African slave traders hundreds of years ago, are not my guilt, my problem or my fault. Slavery, wrong as it is, was an accepted practice in those times. To tell me and you that WE need to pay for the past transgressions of evil slave trade, borders on insanity! To be honest and blunt, the descendants of those "slaves" have actually been blessed to be in this great land of America instead of still being in a fly covered, disease ridden existence in a third world country with no hope! There is a real animus against "whites", more so today than at any other time in American history. Louis Farrahkan, leader of the Nation of Islam, a disgusting man, has called for the "end of the whites in America!" Colleges and universities are providing "classes" to denounce their phony views on "White Privilege" and "White Supremacy", some are even trying to push for "No whites on campus" days here in the good ole' USA!! Wow. Pay for conceived wrongs that took place over 300 years ago, to people that may or may not have any ties to those African slaves?? No, I will not pay one copper penny! The race-baiters and haters like Farrahkan, Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters, and the scam artist in Portland deserve nothing more than our contempt. I've worked very hard for my achievements and career success, I suggest "they" to the same. Instead of "panhandling" for fiscal gain...work for it! America is still a great land of opportunity and I hope it won't become a place where demanding success instead of earning it becomes the norm. Like I said, this insane movement is here...but, it must be stopped, if American is to survive!!!!
