WAAA! WAAA! I want this...I want that!! I remember when my son was three years old and we were Christmas shopping. We went up one aisle and down another and I made a big mistake of veering into the toy department. Suddenly my well behaved son picked up a toy truck from the shelf and said "I want this". I told him maybe Santa would load it on his sleigh and he might find it under the tree. My son decided he wanted that truck NOW and started a temper tantrum that was quickly abbreviated with a "put it back on the shelf NOW" and a swat to the posterior...lesson learned. The aftermath taught Jake never to demand with a temper tantrum...and I guess...never go shopping with Dad! My point in going back to early parenthood is this. The "Dreamers", the near 1 million or so illegal aliens that are demanding citizenship by protesting, swearing, yelling and blocking entrance to Disneyland...is childish a rant that needs more than a Tony Lama boot to the backside! They, the "Dreamers" need to know they are illegal here, they have no special rights and privileges AND only by the grace of God and a forgiving Congress will they get an opportunity to stay here!! NO MORE "Chain Migration", no more aunts, uncles and third cousins twice removed...NO MORE! Immigration into this Country has got to be more selective and beneficial for America – We are importing trouble and activism against our culture and constitutional values. Okay, okay, call me a bigot and a hatemonger...but also call me very concerned. I don't want to hear or read of any more Americans being murdered, run over or robbed by illegal aliens that have been deported 5X and "bungy corded" themselves back here to assault again!! We, the United States taxpayers ARE NOT the "sponge that can absorb all the spill" - nor should we! It's high time...actually past time that other nations took pride in their country's values and citizens and provide hope in their OWN homeland!! WAA WAA!! Enough! Be responsible, pull on your own boots, stand tall in YOUR Country...the U.S. is NOT going to put up with your childish, impish temper tantrums...act like you want to BE an American legally or STAY HOME!
My Aunt Miriam in Wisconsin called the other evening when I was sitting on the bench in front of my barn. I had just finished exercising "Ole Stinger"...on the longe line, and WE were enjoying a Coors Light. "Auntie" asked what I was doing and I told her "Stinger and I were sharing a brewski!" There was a...pause...and all she said was O...K...A...Y and then cordially hung up. I don't think she understood the bonding of a cowboy and his horse over a cold one in the ole' West! Oh...by the way...Stinger does not go to Equine AA...he's on a one beer per week ration...Giddy up!
