Short lil' "ramblings" this week. I'm a wee bit confused as to why its okay to let "Black Lives Matter", Antifa, Brown Power and muslim groups march anywhere...BUT...a group of Caucasians...whites....are denounced and scourged?? Being "white" has become a negative and speaking out on "whites" behalf has brought forth hatred and volatile situations. If you love this Country, the flag and our constitution - - and believe that our forefathers were blessed with great knowledge to lead this nation into the future...you may be called a "white supremacist, a white nationalist or the standard fare of being a bigot, racist and hatemonger". This weekend in Murfreesboro, Tennessee there was a "White Lives Matter" protest march... the event was condemned by certain religious leaders and the Southern Poverty Law Center (oh, they're dandies!). Randy Davis, President and Executive Director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board called the White Supremacy Movement "satanic and evil"...did he say the same things when "Black Lives Matter" protestors screamed for the murder of our police and "fry them like bacon" or when Jihad Muslim groups screamed for "Death to America"??...I certainly can't find any quotes. We are a nation that is more fragmented today than I think ever before. However, as a "whitey" I am not going to sit back and let race baiters and haters use me and my ancestors of heritage as a "door mat". It is not my fault or wrongdoing that our Country began with "White Leaders", and, I'm damn proud of what they were, who they were and what they accomplished! God bless George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, all of them - - we wouldn't be what we are today if it had not been for their intellect and courage to create and form a more perfect union...The United States of America! To you, the loud "empty barrels" - shame be heaped upon you and please leave...you will NOT be missed!
Next week...Halloween! My family had some good "wet wrangler" times on Halloween. Once, it was a very dark, windy Halloween evening (just to set the mood!) and we were eating supper. Suddenly, the power went off, and we're in total darkness! Dad said "I'll go get a flash lite and check the breaker box"...he left the table...and didn't return! Minutes later, Mom, sounding very worried said, "Stay at the table, I'm going to find your Dad...she didn't return!...Okay "Sweaty Palms City"...ah...where the folkies??!! My sister and I sat there...and sat there with the dark creeping toward us and the wind sending goosebumps all over my fat lil body! Suddenly there was a "scratchin' sound" on big window in the living room! My sister and I ran to the window just as a huge bright light showed two very old and distorted demonic faces gesturing for us to join them......oh boy!!!....remember what I said about "wet wranglers"? - HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
