The "State of Confusion" speech this past week leads one to wonder what the heck
happened to America? – AMERICA...Land of Opportunity, Land
of the Free and Home to the Brave?? Remember the Saturday Evening Post Magazine
and the Norman Rockwell paintings on the cover that truly showed to all "what" America
was at that time. Families sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner and praying and thanking
God for their blessed bounty...paintings of soldiers and US saluting the flag as
it passed by in a parade, or families leaving a church on Sunday morning with smiles
on their faces and hope in their hearts...Is it gone??...Will my grandsons ever
see it again...Will they ever know and appreciate the America that "WAS"?
Oh, please God let it be so.
King Obama said "We can restore an economy where EVERYONE gets a fair shot,...EVERYONE
does their fair share and EVERYONE plays by the same set of rules"...MMM?!?...Sounds
like good ole Karl Marx and socialism to this cowboy..Sounds like an Orwellian approach
to Human Control...The words ALL and EVERYONE and SAME are words that stick a spur
in my flank!...Not everyone deserves a fair shot or a fair share, if they don't
do anything or contribute anything...Why should they get any share unless they get
off their dead butts and earn it!! Gee...what novel idea! This is why we have the
"Slob Mobs", the Occupiers camping in city parks, trashing business' and defecating
on police cars...These are the equal share society leeches that want social comforts
given to them without the effort of hard work. Damn them! I wish I had a D-9 Cat
with a wide blade to "clean-up" the Occupiers...oops sorry! Were you still in your
tent?...Darn!
Big "Mama" Obama who in my recollections of past First Ladies, has a posterior approximately
2 ax handles wide...is preaching to us about what we CAN and CAN'T eat. She single
handedly has got the school lunch menus in our schools so messed up with regulations
that soon gray mush and water will be the only acceptable dietary items. Schools
have to pay for all the changes of nutrition, 3.2 Billion, oh that's US folksies
and its ridiculous. The kids won't eat black bean burgers, or broccoli on a stick,
or carrot stolen from a rabbit. Whatever! They throw the expensive "food" in the
trash, WASTED...GONE! Kids are sitting in the classrooms with stomach's begging
for food, and without nourishment at noon, their attention factor is ZERO! Feed
the kids what they will eat, feed the kids so they'll be active and receptive to
school and the learning process. As an adult, if some jughead tells me to eat a
"Black Bean Burger" or "Tofu Delight", they'd better make an appointment with their
neighborhood proctologist to have one of my crutches removed!
Honey, lets buy a new "Hot Car"!...let's get something that will "burn up" the road...at
our age we need "electrifying" experiences to create an inferno of driving fun!
Let's not worry about sticker "shock", because the salesman will make us a blistering
deal with all the money we have blazing in our pockets! Gee what to buy?? MMM! I've
got it!! A Chevy Volt! WOW! What a flaming idea!
Keep a tight cinch, love your family and friends, laugh at your enemies and God
